🏔️ Full-day trips from Zakopane
Private day trips in our comfortable hybrid cars (1–4 passengers) or minibus (up to 8 passengers). We pick you up from your accommodation, drive you between the stops, wait for you and bring you back. Every trip can be adjusted to your pace – just tell us what you like.
1. Gubałówka, highland cheese tasting & Chochołowskie Termy
Start with the funicular up Gubałówka for a panorama of the whole Tatra range. Then we take you to a highland shepherd's hut to taste local smoked cheeses – oscypek, bundz and bryndza. End the day relaxing in the thermal pools of Chochołowskie Termy.
2. Sky Walk Poronin & Morskie Oko
Begin at Sky Walk Heart of Poronin – a glass terrace suspended above Podhale with a 360° view of the Tatras. Then we drive you to Palenica Białczańska, the start of the trail to Morskie Oko, the most famous lake in the Tatras (about 9 km one way on foot, or partly by horse-drawn cart), and pick you up when you are back.
3. Slovakia: Bachledka Treetop Walk & Tatra cable car
Cross the border to Bachledova dolina. A cabin cable car takes you up to the treetop walk – 1,234 m of footbridges above the forest, ending at a 32 m tower with views of the Tatras and Pieniny (and a slide down!). In the afternoon, ride the cable car from Tatranská Lomnica to Skalnaté Pleso (1,751 m) at the foot of Lomnický štít.
4. Torch-lit sleigh ride with a highland feast (winter)
An evening in the Chochołowska Valley: a horse-drawn sleigh ride by torchlight through the snowy forest, followed by a bonfire with grilled food and highland music. A favourite with families and groups – available when there is snow.
5. Quad & buggy tours
For adrenaline lovers: we drive you to the start of a guided off-road tour by quad (ATV) or buggy on the hills around Zakopane, with views of the Tatras, and pick you up afterwards.
6. Dunajec rafting & Niedzica Castle
Float through the Pieniny gorge on a traditional wooden raft steered by highland raftsmen – about 2 hours 15 minutes from Sromowce-Kąty to Szczawnica. On the way, visit Niedzica Castle above Lake Czorsztyn. Rafting season: spring to autumn.
7. Slovakia: Štrbské Pleso & Hrebienok waterfalls
Visit Štrbské Pleso, the best-known lake of the Slovak High Tatras, with an optional chairlift ride to Solisko (2,093 m). Then take the funicular from Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok and walk to the Studený potok waterfalls.
8. Orava Castle (Slovakia) & Chochołów
One of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia, perched on a 112 m rock above the Orava River – guided tours take 30–90 minutes. On the way we stop in Chochołów, a village of traditional wooden highland houses. The castle is closed in April.
9. Kasprowy Wierch cable car & Krupówki
Ride the cable car from Kuźnice to Kasprowy Wierch (1,987 m), with views over both the Polish and Slovak Tatras. Afterwards, stroll along Krupówki, Zakopane's famous main street.
